Founded in 1991 by entrepreneur and master kiltmaker, WILL CARTER. Based in Cape Town at the Southern tip of Africa, we offer a range of absolutely unique sporrans hand-made to the highest standards of old-fashioned artisanal craftsmanship, with thought, absolute attention to detail and a little love.

Infinite care is taken in the design and selection of each element as well as in the creation and construction of the final sporran,
so ensuring that no two are ever exactly the same. 

There is a distinctive fusion of iconic elements born in these two cultures, Celtic and African.

CELTIC knotwork with its characteristic zoomorphic and anthropomorphic interlaced intricacies in the silverware, melded with the exotic textures and colours of indigenous AFRICAN game skins and Nguni hides.

All our leather is selected from reputable sources and tanned to perfection. African game hides are carefully chosen for their grading and come from responsibly managed wildlife farming practices. None are listed as endangered and all conform to the CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) Agreement.
